Life is a gift from God. We are here to live life in love. Love eternal. To be obedient to the Father and do unto others as we want them to do unto us. We are here simply to love and be Holy.
The Catechism of the Catholic Church says God made us to know Him, to love Him, and to serve Him.
We are one family; we are one body in Christ with many members 1 Corinthians 12. God gave us all individual gifts to benefit the whole.
We must praise Him and thank Him for the, gifts that He gave us. We must be humble with a contrite heart. Everything that we do, should be for the love of God.
For example, when I clean my house, I do it with love as if it is God’s house and, is it not really His house?
Does He not really live within all of us. Is it not with His graces and blessings that I have a house to clean?
The world may say I worked and that I acquired my own home. Is it not the, Lord who gave me the talents in which I thank Him for and try to use them for good and His Glory? Am I not merely His instrument and He the Maker of all things?
If you can truly do everything for God even the smallest things, your life becomes a prayer, a living prayer. What a great glory to offer your life to God the Father than as a prayer for the benefit of mankind both living and deceased.
When you can learn to do this your life becomes whole, happy and the vices of the world don’t seem important or necessary. You become High on Life. Such a joy overcomes you. The trifling of the world become insignificant.
When death approaches us do not be sad but rather let us rejoice, for we are going home, home to the Father. To a love not of this world.
Our journey thou for many will be long. To enter the eternal kingdom, we must be purified. For many our first step is purgatory.
How long we spend there, depends on the gravity, contrition, penance of our sins, good works out of pure love, atonement.
We each have your own book of life. Every moment of every day since our conception is recorded both good and bad. We will be held accountable for our lives.
Yes, God is a just God. A merciful God. That is why God provided us with purgatory. A place of purification so what one day we can enter the Gates of Heaven.
I implore you to begin the 1st day of the rest of your life. Live the 10 commandments with a full heart. Study the Corporal Sins which is also called the 7 Deadly Sins. Love your neighbor as yourself. Do not offend God. Stay firm in faith. Rid ourselves of the corruption of the world. Bad TV, Bad Music, Gossip, Pride etc. Stand firm in faith!
Prepare your soul for death.
